Reporting to the Veralon Managing Director & CEO, the primary responsibilities of the Human Resources Manager are:
- Manage talent acquisition processes, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding of new Veralon employees and summer Interns
- Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities and performance review process
- Collaborate with leaders and develop programs to enhance employee engagement, company culture and professional development and learning opportunities
- Coordinate promotion, bonus and salary increase cycles, in partnership with CEO
- Manage various internal educational and professional development programs
- Lead the annual open enrollment process and ongoing benefit-related areas
- Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations
- Develop and maintain employee Handbook and SOP Manual, keep abreast with best-practices in HR policies and programs
- Investigate employee concerns and bring them to resolution
- Ensure the organization’s compliance with local, state and federal regulations
- Serve as a relied upon member of the Veralon leadership team
- Lead and supervise administrative team of three
All Candidates Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university required
- 5+ years of experience in a progressively responsible human resources role
- 3+ years of experience in talent management, performance management and/or employee relations
- 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role
- 3+ years of experience in a small organization strongly preferred (less than 100 EEs)
- PHR/SPHR certification is preferred
- Established proficiency in use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
