Human Resources Manager

Veralon, a healthcare management consulting firm, is seeking qualified candidates for a part-time Human Resources Manager in our Bala Cynwyd (PA) office

Reporting to the Veralon Managing Director & CEO, the primary responsibilities of the Human Resources Manager are:

  • Manage talent acquisition processes, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding of new Veralon employees and summer Interns
  • Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities and performance review process
  • Collaborate with leaders and develop programs to enhance employee engagement, company culture and professional development and learning opportunities
  • Coordinate promotion, bonus and salary increase cycles, in partnership with CEO
  • Manage various internal educational and professional development programs
  • Lead the annual open enrollment process and ongoing benefit-related areas
  • Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations
  • Develop and maintain employee Handbook and SOP Manual, keep abreast with best-practices in HR policies and programs
  • Investigate employee concerns and bring them to resolution
  • Ensure the organization’s compliance with local, state and federal regulations
  • Serve as a relied upon member of the Veralon leadership team
  • Lead and supervise administrative team of three

All Candidates Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university required
  • 5+ years of experience in a progressively responsible human resources role
  • 3+ years of experience in talent management, performance management and/or employee relations
  • 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role
  • 3+ years of experience in a small organization strongly preferred (less than 100 EEs)
  • PHR/SPHR certification is preferred
  • Established proficiency in use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
